Join me for an immersive 4-day landscape photography workshop in the border region of Slovakia and Poland. From carefully selected viewpoints, we will photograph the majestic Tatra Mountains in the distance — framed by colorful autumn forests, rolling hills, and atmospheric valley mist.
Mid-October offers some of the most beautiful light of the year: low sun angles, golden foliage, and dramatic mountain silhouettes.
This workshop combines structured learning with the joy of exploring breathtaking landscapes together.
What to expect?
We will structure our days entirely around light.
Morning:
Sunrise sessions overlooking the Tatra massif
Mist-filled valleys and layered mountain compositions
Evening:
Sunset photography from elevated viewpoints
Blue hour landscapes with subtle color transitions
Midday:

Our goal is not just to “take pictures,” but to understand how to build depth, balance light, and create powerful, atmospheric landscape images.

Basic to intermediate drone photography (where legally permitted)

Physical Effort?
The workshop involves light to moderate hiking.
Most walks will last approximately 1 hour, occasionally up to 2 hours maximum.
No technical climbing or alpine experience is required.

Itinerary
In Christoph Stoll's photography workshop, you’ll visit the most beautiful photo spots in a small group of like-minded individuals. With no stress or time pressure, you can fully focus on photography. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings and explore new subjects. The intimate atmosphere ensures a relaxed and unforgettable experience.
Christoph will be there to assist you with any questions or challenges, allowing you to focus entirely on photography.
Group Size
The group size is limited to 4 to 6 participants. Small groups are intentionally chosen to ensure a friendly and flexible atmosphere. This allows for adjustments based on weather and more time to spend at each photo spot.
Is There Time for Photo Editing?
Yes! During the day while we are resting we’ll take our time to do some post processing.
What Photography Level Is Required?
Participants of all levels, from beginners to professionals, are welcome. It is expected that you are familiar with your camera and understand its basic functions. The focus is on enjoying photography and exchanging ideas within the group, rather than on technical expertise.
